Spring Bear Season runs from April through June. This season is for archery, muzzle loader, or rifle depending on the hunter's preference. Fall Bear Season runs in September.

Our black bear species have 3 distinct coat colors - black, brown, and the highly sought after blonde or cinnamon colored coat.

Many bear are taken in the 18, 19, or 20 inch class. The success ratio is very high, of course depending on the hunter's trophy expectations.

Our bear hunting is done from tree stands over bait. This year's bear quota is 1 bear of either sex.
